Hello, World! I’m Lachlan 👋

I’ve recently delved into indie app development as a creative outlet and source of fulfilment beyond my day job as an engineering manager. Balancing this new challenge with being a Dad to two amazing kids keeps me busy, all from our home on the stunning Sunshine Coast, Queensland (Australia).

This marks my second foray into writing online. My previous blog attracted a decent following, but I let imposter syndrome and self-doubt get the best of me, leading me to scrap everything in a moment of despair.

Now, a few years later a bit less hair, I’m back with more determination and a fresh perspective.

I’m not here to stick to a rigid posting schedule, but to share thought’s and ideas as inspiration strikes. This space will be a mix of personal reflections, professional lessons, and tales from the the frontlines of the tech industry and engineering management.
